Why is my organization being recognized by Press Ganey?

How does Press Ganey recognize winners?
Once organizations have been notified, winners will be featured on PressGaney.com and a formal press release will be sent out. In addition, we will send your organization an award for you to display at your facility.
Am I allowed to promote this accomplishment?
Absolutely, we have assets for you to share award announcements with staff, stakeholders and your community. However, we ask that you do not share with your external community until after January 7.
We ask that when referencing the award, you:
- Do not make changes to quote issued by Press Ganey Chairman and CEO, Patrick Ryan, without prior approval.
- Utilize the entire name of the award: Press Ganey 2024 HX Pinnacle of Excellence Award®.
- Do not overstate the recognition. For example, do not say the award signifies “(HOSPITAL NAME) is #1 in patient experience.”
Am I allowed to include this accomplishment on collateral, swag, my website, etc.?

We feature other awards and accomplishments in the “about” section of our website. Is this allowed? If so, do you have guidance to share?
Definitely. We want to ensure you can highlight your accomplishment alongside any other awards your organization may have earned. In addition to posting a press release on their website, many organizations reference their Press Ganey achievement on a webpage dedicated to awards and recognition or in the “About” section. Please include:
- The new Press Ganey 2024 HX Pinnacle of Excellence Award logo provided for digital use.
- Ensure the image is tagged with the following search optimized alt image text: Press Ganey 2024 HX Pinnacle of Excellence Award.
- The official name of the award: Press Ganey 2024 HX Pinnacle of Excellence Award®.
- Link the text of the official name of the award to the press release your organization published on your website.
